I am happy to announce the new igallerydirect.com website is now live and taking orders!
Let me give you an idea how this website came about. I was one of the lucky few able to get into a fine art gallery in Prescott Az, The Ian Russell Gallery. This experience really opened my eyes to the world of fine art and how it works. I was fortunate to get great advise from the owner, Ian Russell himself. Who is a very successful artist and has been in the business for many years. He taught me a few things, one - always have fresh work to show. Well, that advice has temporarly fallen to the side, due to the hours it has taken to build igallerydirect.com, there were a lot of sleepless nights working on this site. (Well more like 14 hours a day 7 days a week.) So has been zero time to shoot fresh work. Hearing Ians advice in my head and wanting to get back to shooting made these hours seem even longer…
The other bit of advice he gave me was – be in as many galleries as possible to make a living at it. We all know, if you can make a living doing something you love – it no longer feels like a job. Who wouldn’t chase that goal? Submitting my work to as many galleries as possible, just to find they were going out of business due the the bad economy, or they only carry abstract and landscape work. Since I do not fit in galleries like that, the best places I could find to sell my work were mostly over seas and I had no way of tracking the work that sold. Last thing I wanted to do is send out original files of my work and not know where they end up.
So igallerydirect.com was born.
Igallerydirect was created to keep track of sales and still have control of my own work. It has since turned into such a huge success, artists from all over have been applying to the site daily. We decided to allow some of the best of the best to display their own work and now they can keep track of their own sales as well. This also became a huge success allowing other artists on the site. In less then 2 weeks of being live, we have been selling almost daily. I would like to thank every artist that has come on board with us. We are still trying to keep up with the demand of artists who want to be added to the site. Keep checking back to igallerydirect.com as we are adding new artist daily. At this time, we are about a week behind due to the huge demand. I would also like to thank every client who has purchased from Igallerydirect.com. Without you we couldnt keep this site alive, I am sure every artist on our site who has sold would love to shake your hand and give you a huge personal thank you.
Also in regards to sales of my work. If you are living in the Prescott, Az area – I can not stress this point enough – please purchase my prints through the Ian Russell Gallery. A lot of the inventory they have I do not make available on igallerydriect.com as they are on display at the Ian Russell Gallery. If you see prints on my site here and you do not see them on igallerrydirect.com , the Ian Russell gallery is currently showcasing them. Please contact them to purchase prints. The staff at the Ian Russell Gallery will be happy to help you with your orders, they are very professional and a friendly team always willing to help and make the client 100% happy with their purchase.
I would Also like to thank Christ for providing a way to make igallerydirect.com possible when I was told it couldnt happen on my shoe string budget. I would like to thank my wife Rebecca for the long days and nights of taking care of everything around here while I put in countless hours building igallerydirect.com. I would like to thank Dorin and his wife Elena for all their hard work and countless hours. Nothing like working in front of a computer all day for someone else and have to come home eat dinner and jump back on a computer again to make this site possible. You 2 are amazing!! Thank you!!

Now this is where I get to turn things over to my wife Rebecca to make sure the site keeps growing while Dorin, Igor and I finally get to work on Ians Russell’s first bit of advice. I finally get to get busy on new and fresh work. I think the new pieces will rock, I have a white board full of ideas and we are finally going to bring them to life!
